I haven't played drums in two or three days, and I was wondering if I should rest one more day or play. The only reason that I wouldn't play is it's been raining all day and it's hard to get motivated sometimes on days like those. The instant I thought about playing drums I got butterflies. My stomach is doing flips right now just thinking about getting to play drums. After all this time that's incredible. I've sat down to play my drums thousands of times, and to think I still get this excited about it is remarkable. It's a gift. I'll take it. I'm off to go play drums. Cheers.
